In 500 Words or Less

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that Mom seems to be as comfortable as possible in her new home

that I can cut down on my Mom visitation schedule and not feel guilty about it

for my mentors in recovery; a few people who have taught me to Keep Coming Back, Don't Give Up 5 Minutes Before the Miracle, Pause When Agitated, Restraint of Pen and Tongue but most of all, show me the importance of a Higher Power in my life

that I don't seem to have blackouts any longer; they may have been associated with my drinking

that I haven't climbed a fence once since I stopped drinking, nor fallen off one

that I learned early in life that the best way to learn something is to teach it

for my lateral filing cabinet; both drawers are nearly full --- arghhhh!

for Houston weather (most of the time)

that tomorrow is hAAlf nAAked thursdAAy

that Alexis may show up at Lambda before too much longer; ie: on 3/18 for our fundraiser or 3/25 on Birthday Night

glad to hear mom's doing well!! restraint of tongue and pen, hadn't heard that one in awhile! maybe thats why I am pissing people off again! ha ha
