the cats enjoying their new bed

to be sober another morning with a real chance of staying that way all day
that my Mom is still with us as of this morning
that I'm making final preparations to participate in the annual Lambda Center Talent Show. It's this Saturday night. Stay tuned for a synopsis of my
that we were spared a direct hit by a hurricane
for complete media coverage of a potential major hurricane. However, it turned out to be no more than a storm with a few inches of rain, so is 14 hours of continuous television coverage really needed?

OH damn...I wish I could be at Lambda Saturday to see YOU. Ms. Soberpants will be sorry to miss it also. We will be at a convention together (her and I at a convention together-it don't get much better than that :))
The cats look like that has always been their home.
Glad you look after your cats and spent on that money on their comfort.
Sure, you really should have 14 hours of media coverage for those cute cats on a great looking bed!
No, it wasn't needed. But lunch was, so thanks for that item.
love the cats on the bed AND the bed is gorgeous! pretty pretty.
anyhoo - yup the weather people are aggravating. thing is - when something IS serious the tendency now is for me to ignore them so it's like the boy that cried wolf thing. when it IS important, i'll not be listening b/c of all the blah blah blah blah prior to that. "a tornado is about to touch down" and i'll be thinking "yeah - whatever" then WOOSHH BLAM SLAM TWIRL.. ohhhh, there really WAS one right??!
ah well. have a great day Dave man
About 12 years ago I rescued our cat (then just days old) from a wood pile during a cold wintry drizzle (unusual in Naples). Anyway, I have very little to do with him, but in bed he always always chooses me for his "partner". lies right across my neck.
The girls here think he still remembers who first brought him into warmth, and warm milk.
My street was churning in water at least 1/2 inch deep and the debris was awful, why there were logs the size of cigaret butts. LOL. That gorgeous bed and the picture does not do it justice.
It's August... the media has nothing else to do....
Glad that you were spared a hurricane too. I'm just hoping that none come around during the "peak" season that is upon us.
KITTIES!!!
