todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful
that I've rarely been burdened by feelings of shame and guilt -- in other words, I'm shameless and not guilty!
that I understand and appreciate the importance of participating in my own recovery
that I love going to AA meetings; I can't say that for Al Anon meetings (yet)
that I can watch Apolo Ohno all day/night long and never get tired of him
I was strongest when I laughed at my weakness.

Hm. I love my meetings. But come to think of it, I love my Al-Anon meetings where everyone laughs. If they aren't laughing, I find another meeting. I need good recovery around me. :)
I always thought you were shameless, I like that about you.
He is a thing of beauty for sure.
I love both meetings, although I know that I belong in Al-Anon. I am there to listen at open AA meetings.
Apolo is worth watching all day/night long!
You just love him for his 'tude.
You're probably not feeling guilty about that either.
Good boy.
Blessings and aloha...
In my experience, if a meeting doesn't have some lightness, hope and chuckling at ourselves, then I can bring some with me. There is never any lack of stuff in my life to find the ironic, absurd and just plain silly..especially when I start to mope and think I am unique. The disease is painful enough...Alanon taught me that humor can be healing when the only other option is to cry.
