feelin' it

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that I didn't feel it necessary to celebrate my birthday at the Irish pub that I'm still a partner in

that I have not been inside of that pub since 2004, although I retain a small ownership in it

that my sponsees teach me so much, usually without ever realizing it

for all the good wishes and happy birthday's I received yesterday; from my local friends, from you guys, my Facebook friends and my partner

If you really do put a small value upon yourself, rest assured that the world will not raise your price.

Dave, I'm so sorry I didn't realize it was your Birthday. Happy Birthday. I'm so glad that our paths have crossed. I've enjoyed seeing you these last few mornings.

I saw that pub when I was in Houston! Glad you aren't still drinking there.

I am glad that you had a good day without green beer or the Irish pub being part of the celebration. I did not get pinched once yesterday--damn.

Thanks, Dave. So much to be grateful for. I agree about learning from our sponsees. I don't think we really learn something until we have to put it together to present to someone else. It's sure been that way for me. Have a good one!

All that green beer not pissed away or puked...

Sigh...

Blessings and aloha...

That note is disturbing. What do you think happens to that unused time if someone just clears it off? Is it lost forever? Or does it come back in autumn when DST is over?
I think it is cool & weird that you co-own a pub. I like to think of it as additional 12th-step work, hurrying people along so they can get to AA faster.

You get what you settle for, and you settle for what you think you're worth.

You were born on St. Patrick's Day, are part owner in an Irish Pub, and sober. Who says the Universe doesn't get irony! I say that in a grateful way and knowing the my HP has a sense of humor, even when I don't.

a man who owns a Irish Pub is a friend of mine :-) Being as Scottish as I am, and being unable to get much contact with Scottish things, I'll take a good Irish Pub full of good Celtic fare any day!

Happy Birthday. Your pic made me smile because my mom never closes the microwave door, which would clear it. Even if I complained about it she would never remember that we talked about it. Now I do it, sigh ;>)
