todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful
that my brain cell has been treating me well these past few days
for the bonding that happened with my sponsor after I did my initial 5th step with him
that for today, I don't care about getting drunk nor high
for the chapter entitled "Into Action" in the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. There's not a chapter called "Into Thinking".
Inaction breeds doubt and fear. Action breeds confidence and courage. If you want to conquer fear, do not sit home and think about it. Go out and get busy.

I so agree about the action statement. I am glad to be a person of action, whether right or wrong in the result. I still forge forward and do something to work towards a solution. Funny, I had this conversation with an alcoholic friend last night whose primary mode is inaction.
Glad your brain cell has been kind.
I'm putting that quote on my quote wall!
Thanks for the reminder!!
