todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful
that our friend, Zane, told us his story of experience (lots of it), strength (it's obvious) and hope (everlasting) at the Saturday Night Live speaker meeting at Lambda Center
for a relatively quiet weekend
for naturally funny people; I am around many of them every day
that I came across The Recovering Alcoholic. He's the "best drinker ever". Drop by and help make him welcome to this unique world of recovery.
for beautiful weather to be one of many who showed off our cars this weekend; I took a lot of pictures and will psot some of them this week
Nothing so needs reforming as other people's habits.

Sorry I missed Zane - I would love to hear his story.
Thanks for the link to "the best drinker ever." I have been following for a little while. Wonderful blog about early sobriety.
My trouble kid (yet doing better, for today)owes us money that he took in his active days. He has a gift for working on cars that he got from his dad. I told him if he can find me a 1976 Datsun 280-Z, NOT 2+2, and restore it to my specs, his debt will be forgive. That is my dream car and I have good memories assoc with it. I will post a picture of it one day. I know I will.

Happy Monday, sometimes quiet weekends are so nice
I love old cars, especially the mid to late-50's. America's naive optimism sparkled in their exuberant designs. I posted a few pictures recently, in case you missed them. They're scattered between the pigs & steam engines.
Say Hi to Zane. I miss his writing. I am sure that he had an awesome story. I like funny people too.
lol, love the Twain quote!
Thanks for the 'shout out' dAAve!
You can call me Bruce now... I've decided to share my first name at least.
Also thanks for the support. It means a lot to know people are getting something out of my blog.
