I believe

a side street in Amsterdam

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that I've never treated the rooms of AA as a revolving door

that I seem to attend a lot of Step 1 meetings; a great! topic to discuss

that no one can tell me I'm doing my AA program incorrectly; if they do, they are doing theirs incorrectly (comments??)

for meetings away from Lambda Center
(that's where I attend 99% of my meetings)

that I am finished with my gift purchases for this holiday season

for my friends who give me help when I need it

that my car got fixed quickly (less than 1 day) and the warranty covered all of it

If you are good, be better.

I hope my door has stopped revolving.

I think a sponsor or a very very close friend are obligated to tell us when we are doing our programs incorrectly. I count on these people to tell me the truth.

I agree with MC, and I see where you are coming from daave, I dont like people who judge us and are talking out of their asses LOL I know a few of them, and they can be dangerous to the new comer... I could go into detail, but I am only on a 15 minute break right now LOL Have a great day today

I don't tell others what to do or how to work the program and I don't want others telling me. For me, it's about not taking someone's inventory or trying to control them. I simply don't want to do that. Yet, there are many control freaks in Al-Anon.

Consequences are good indicators of whether or not I'm working my program correctly, or not.

But today, I'm willing to hear from close friends and sponsor. Interestingly, my sponsor SELDOM tells me what to do or not do, or if I'm doing it right. She's really good at asking questions that lead me to the answers I need.

I just started shopping today! UGH!

Love when I get to a meeting outside my regular routine. It gives me a good boost most of the times :)

Happy Tuesday Mr. Dave
