the car obsession continues

My newest toy. It's a 1961 Beetle in very decent condition. It's very basic, which makes it a lot of fun to drive.

On road trips we kids would play "Punch Bug" every time we saw a beetle!

Love old VW beetles -- they go on forever.

My first car was a '70 white beetle. It was an awesome car. They were fun, fun, fun to drive.

Are you going to rent an extra garage to store all these cars?

Slug Bug!

The new VW commercials are trying to resurrect "Slug Bug". While it brings a smile to my face, there's nothing like the feeling you get from a classic!

Sometimes it becomes wonderful in just a day or two.. depends entirely on the thoroughness of my inventory on it :)

Thanks so much so so much for being part of the inspiring path!

I like these cars that you are getting. I always wanted a Karman Gia.

Cool new car. I always get a kick out of how good a shape the old beetles are in when you find them in warm weather locations. Hard to keep them that way in Chicago! Enjoy!!

I hope you enjoy it and that you stay safe in it.

Blessings and aloha...

The power windows in those old VW's can be very troublesome.

Ooh very pretty. My first car was a red bug, a 1960 or 70something.
