that I'm a regular attendee of AA and Al Anon meetings at a recovery center where we talk about solutions
that I've recently formed a better friendship with someone who speaks my language of cars and planes
How rare and wonderful is that flash of a moment when we realize we have discovered a friend.

A friend is a Gift from God.
One of my non-sober friends asked me today why I still when to "beginners" meetings. I told him that it was to keep in touch with "remember when" moments.
