ups and downs

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that the simpler I keep my program of recovery, the easier it is -- DUH!

for the life I left behind and the one I live now

that my big mouth doesn't get me into as many unfortunate predicaments as it used to before I knew about the concept of restraint of tongue

that we're only 1 month from the start of the regular season (baseball)

Believe those who seek the truth; doubt those who find it.

I wish I liked baseball! I used to. It is fun to like.

I do like to watch you liking it.

I have to remember restraint of tongue, especially when I am in a group of colleagues who debate for hours over minutia. It tries my patience sorely.

Restraint of tongue? Is that like when I tell myself to keep my f***ing mouth shut?? :-D

Always look forward to pitchers and catchers reporting--first sign of Spring! Love the quote from Andre Gide. I believe, as with many things, our programs included, it's far more about the journey than the destination. Have a great weekend!
