That I was asked to chair a step meeting for a friend who couldn't make it. We were due to discuss Step Twelve, but we had a first-time newcomer in the room. The tradition at Lambda Center (where I attend meetings, mostly) is to discuss Step One when a first-timer is present. It seemed like such a wonderful thing to talk about powerlessness while carrying the message. Steps One and Twelve simultaneously.

That we're finally out of the major drought situation in southeast Texas (Houston). We're ahead of the normal/average rainfall where last year it was dry as a bone here. I love the rain.

How awesome for that lucky person to be in that meeting. I love the rain too, especially now that I have a good frizz hair product.

Thanks for the Birthday wishes Dave. We've been doing this for a while now and that is good.
