It's about time

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that I love to participate in my life

for evolution in all its forms (I watched some documentararies on the Galapagos Islands last night on NatGeo).  They didn't mention anything about the evolution of my recovery though.

for another tragic reminder of the fatal illness of alcoholism (an acquaintance overdosed a few days ago).

that we celebrate sobriety birthdays/anniversaries at the end of each month at my recovery center.  For June, we had 36 sober people celebrating from 1 year sober to 35 years, totaling 483 years of sobriety.

A bend in the road is not the end of the road... unless you fail to make the turn.
