that for today, I can be the best me that I can be
to be slowly (very slowly) learning how to live as a sober man
that my addictions and obsessions today are much less life-threatening than my drinking was
I'm an idealist. I don't know where I'm going but I'm on the way.

If we keep trying, we get a lifetime to learn how to live as sober people. Thank God.
here's to much less life threatening addictions!!
Good gratitudes! I totally relate!
I'm glad you're not learning to live as a sober woman, the bloating is miserable.
I am this year's "American Idle" (not really!)
Excellent list!!!
my favorite part of meetings is when i get to share the mess and not the message
I guess that I'm slowly learning how to live with emotional and spiritual balance. I don't think that I ever learned how before. It will take the rest of my life but is a good "job" to have.
