Don't miss the boat ...

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

I know that life is not a bowl of cherries and things won't always be pleasant or easy. A big part of my joy in recovery is knowing (1) there is a solution (2) that this too shall pass.

that some good recovery friends celebrated sober anniversaries on Saturday night at Lambda Center's monthly birthday celebration

I'm happy for Canada in their Olympic hockey victory and for the USA with all the medals.

for some beautiful spring-like weather this weekend

I was thrown off (my planned & anticipated) course today, because I set my alarm clock wrong last night.
I'm grateful that I can restart my day at any point these days. Previously, I would have considered the whole day messed up.

Yes, there are pits in that bowl of cherries!

I like it when the host country wins an important medal. Canadians are pure hockey fans, and I'm glad they got it also.

I had a bowl of cherries for dessert last night.

Hope whatever it is that is not so great right now will pass quickly.

Great cartoon. Those poor dinosaurs. I too am happy for all the medalists. I like what your recovery consists of. Those words help me a lot.
