that I've stayed relatively sane this week even though my service to others has been somewhat lacking; in other words, it'a been all about me!

to see some friends who have recently relapsed return to the rooms of AA; I consider them lucky, blessed or whatever you wanna call it

that I don't know what I don't know -- someday, maybe I'll find out, but I'm not sure if I'll know when I do

for Hayden

for reruns of the old Carol Burnett Show -- I wonder why variety shows don't work anymore

Variety shows work for me!
It's right in line with my attention span.

good grief...after 4 years of blogging you would think that I would understand URL wouldn't you?
I finally figured out why my new address would not show up...I took the dashes out of the title! My brilliance amazes me sometimes.

I feel saner this week than last. Last week gave me some challenges to serenity. I'm glad that your friends have returned to AA. And glad that you are there to welcome them back.

Oooooh, you just reminded me. I get to meet Carol Burnett at the end of the month when she attends a fundraiser (a screening of the movie "Life of The Party, in which she portrays Bea Jorgensen, the founder of the recovery home I lived in). I always loved her variety shows. To laugh like that is simply divine!

Seems to me that we just take the same ideas and repackage the shows as survivor contests, talent shows, game shows - still variations on generalized entertainment.

But, what would I know?

Blessings and aloha...
