Tobago Coral Reefs
While visiting Tobago last week, I went on a little 3-hour snorkelling excursion to see some coral reefs.
The boat we went on had 3 windows in the floor, otherwise known as a glass-bottom boat. The coral reefs were in very shallow water and we could see the reefs directly under the boat in depths of less than ten feet. These pictures do not do justice. (CLICK ON ANY PICTURE FOR MORE DETAIL)
We got out of the boat and swam amongst the reefs in an area where we could walk without cutting our feet. The views were absolutely gorgeous. Exotic fish of many colors were swimming right along with us. They must be accustomed to humans.
The tour cost a whopping $10.
Damn good return on investment.
