Could and Would

Have a GREAT weekend!

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for the importance of Step 6 in my everyday life and the intricate ways in which it's tied to being the best person I can be

for a very helpful meeting with my therapist, who really does come up with viable solutions

that I continue to attend to health issues -- yesterday, I consulted with a Gastroenterologist about my upcoming Colonoscopy
(and no, I doubt I will take potential HNT pix during that episode)

that I will soon have a consultation with a vascular surgeon concerning my Peripheral Artery Disease -- it appears it is serious enough to require a "procedure" -- but at least there is a solution

for memories of watching men walking and working on the moon -- on this day, 38 years ago, I sat in front of the television with my parents as we witnessed Neil Armstrong take "a giant leap for mankind"

Dear dAAve,

weren't the Mercury and Apollo Missions just the best thing. I especially followed the Mercury mission. I too remember watching the moon landing and walk. I was 19, just graduated from HS and thought nothing could ever be as fascinating.

I hope you get a good report on both your procedures.

Interesting post ...we go from an interesting picture of Pooh's friends having to pull him out of a tree in a suggestive fashion to um...colonoscopies and "one giant leap for mankind".
You're just too cool Daave..and good luck with the colonoscopy eh.
Been there - done that- very important to do :)

That was 38 years ago?? And just think, we've already formed Star Fleet Command and the Enterprise is already at Warp factor 8...

Oooops. I've been watching too much Star Trek lately...

interestingly enough, the town where I run my little business is Mr Armstrong's hometown, and this week is our Summer Moon Festival...

dAAve, glad you're taking care of business health-wise, that's a vital part of being sober... no more personal neglect! Not fun, but necessary!
