that here in Houston (so far) we've had a mild summer, trading high temps for a whole lot of rain
for a very pleasant day with Hayden as he joined me for AA fellowship during a meeting and after for lunch, then we did some good old fashioned shopping after which we visited with neighbors until nearly time for bed -- this is sooo different from my days and nights alone

from one alcoholic to another...I know a great day when I hear it. How wonderful that you and Hayden got to have such a peaceful time.
I loved the quote at the end. It reminds me of how so many people come in the program talking about their DWI's and have decided to give up driving.
It's still difficult to believe I never got a DUI.

Glad that you had a peaceful day with Hayden. Those days are rare for me but I grab onto them whenever I can. Life goes too fast sometimes.
