We went down to the Johnson Space Center a couple of days ago.If you're ever in Houston, it's worth the half day to get down there and
tour the facilities. If you like that sort of thing. I had never been and I'm a lifelong resident of Houston.I suggest, however, that you go on a non-rainy day. Part of the tour consists of going from building to building over a 1600 acre campus. One rides on a tram and when it is raining, one gets soaked. Our experience confirms this.

Been here 30 years and have no desire to visit NASA. But I would like a studio as big as that room that houses the space shuttle.

I wish they had had that set up when I was a kid. My parents would have had to take me. I wanted to go into space sssooooo badly.
Playing in a simulator would have been a fulfilling experience.
I followed the Mercury Mission and still have all the paper clippings.

I have driven past NASA lots of times and pointed saying "there's NASA" but have never taken the tour. Thanks for showing off some Texas stuff here in Higher Power Land.
Reid and John would love it. I never went to places like that till I got married. Now I follow them around to everything just enjoying watching them.
