side by side

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for freedom and choices

that I'm still willing to do whatever it takes to continue my recovery

as a real minority (a gay, recovering alcoholic) I can be an example to others like me

that I feel no pressure to do the next right thing

The jump is so frightening between where I am and where I want to be.
Because of all I may become, I will close my eyes and leap.

Keep up the good work.
AA may be the heart of 12 Step work, but it is not the only useful one.

There is a wonderful wisdom in the steps that goes high, deep, far.

Sometimes a little change in life leads to a little change in point of view that leads lo all the difference in the world.

I think of you and others when we are told to say the pledge of allegiance at the sail and power squadron meetings-- liberty and justice for all. I hope so one day.

Over a wide crevasse is better to take one big leap, than two smaller steps
