4. Everyone has 2 first names: Billy Bob, Jimmy Bob, Mary Sue, Betty Jean, Mary Beth, etc.
5. Everything is either "in yonder," "over yonder" or "out yonder." It's important to know the difference, too.

The truth of this is so right on. So I guess I'll just stay here in the countryside of North Carolina where going to get groceries means driving at least 30 minutes and the choice of only 2 stores; A traffic jam is three cars in a row; There are more foreclosed homes on my street than occupied ones; the seasons include frozen pop; soggy; furnace blast; and pleasant for gnats.

Hahaha Hilarious. I kept wanting to see the Texas one...some of the "south" works at least the "y'all" and "all y'all" stuff. Of course we need to add "fixn to" and that when someone offers to "carry you to the store" they are not talking about a piggy back ride.

We moved here to Texas twenty years ago, but some things here still crack me up.

Thanks for this Dave. Obviously, I've seen the Colorado one before (true, too) , but not all of the rest. They are funny!

In this town of the deep south, we have the "come ya" ( came here) or "bin yah" (born here). There is a real difference no matter when one arrived. LOL on Granola!
