That's not me any more.

Bridgette Bardot - then and now

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

to be reminded that all those (33) years I drank alcoholically, I never tried to control my drinking.  I did, however, try to control my behavior.  Unsuccessfully almost always.

for my health.  It could be better but overall, I'm fairly healthy.

for irony.  Now that I don't have blackouts which caused me to not remember what I did last night, my memory fails me more often because I've lived long enough to get sober.

Experience is a hard teacher. She gives the test first and the lessons afterwards.

I think Bridgette looks fine for a woman of 80 or whatever she is. I respect the fact that she hasn't had a bunch of "work" done. It is really hard to watch your face and body go to hell in a handbasket.

I was thinking the same thing Mary! She looks great and her faced has character and is still beautiful.

She looks real and still has those lips. Gravity is more powerful than all the liposuction and face lifting. It will win in the end.

A wise man (Joe Rogan) once said. People have to realize that you are not your past. You are not all the times you fucked up. You're not all the times you couldn't get it up, You're not all the times you were drunk and threw up in your friends car, that's not you. You are the person that has learned from a great deal of experience. If you learned and process things correctly, you'll have a happier life!
