You Might Be a Coffee Addict If ...
... you're employee of the month at the local coffee house and you don't even work there
… your eyes stay open when you sneeze
… you chew on other people's fingernails
… you can type sixty words per minute with your feet
… you can jump-start your car without cables
… you don't sweat, you percolate
… you've worn out the handle on your favourite coffee mug
… you walk twenty kilometres on your treadmill before you realise it's not hooked up
… you're so wired, you pick up radio signals
… your birthday is a national holiday in Brazil
… you'd be willing to spend time in a Turkish prison
… you go to sleep just so you can wake up and smell the coffee
… you name your cats 'Cream' and 'Sugar'
… you have a picture of your coffee mug on your coffee mug
… you don't tan, you roast
… you don't get mad, you get steamed
… your coffee mug is insured by Lloyd's of London
… you introduce your spouse as your coffee mate
… you haven't blinked since the last lunar eclipse
todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful
that I will never have to hit bottom again
that I have things to do every day which involve other people and not just me
that it's now been 3 years since I have walked inside the Irish pub of which I continue to be an investor; I drank there for 30 years
that all my possible excuses to delay my recovery have dried up
that I am as passionate about sobriety as I was about staying drunk

Hi Daave..I'm glad I ran out of excuses too. Of course more are invented everyday by others that I did not think of. We are a creative bunch.
You know what the say, never say never.
Have a nice day dAAve. It was good to talk with you yesterday.
I think I am a coffee addict(-:
Dave ... we will deffo hook up for lots of coffee when you are in London. Buzz me on spencerdotsteelatgmaildotcom and we'll arrange a date ... maybe grab a meeting as well ... that would be pretty far out!
love the list... I have to admit I drink coffee for the effect, ha!
and we love your passion Daave..
keep sharing it!
My excuses got pretty creative before I ran out of them...geesh! Glad I don't have that worry anymore.
I love your passion for recovery too.....
hahaa yeah i can relate to the coffee thing. well I'll treat you guys to a pointlessly overpriced one in london when you come over, if you can be tempted with kenny and hayden and what have you. ? will this be your first time in london meetings? they are pretty nice, and the weathers pretty good here at the moment..
Your statement about being passionate about sobriety is good. I think that recovery can't really be achieved without willing to go to any length. I wish that my SO had that passion.
I am powerless over espresso and my cats are names Tall, Grande and Venti. Is that a problem? [grin]
I like your comment about passion!
Peace,

Hey wait...I percolate!!!
