that I had a rather normal childhood (whatever normal is)
that the worst abuse I've ever suffered came at my own hands
for some newcomers at Lambda who seem to be doing their best -- what more can one ask for?
that my constant, never-ending tendency to exaggerate has completely abated since I got sober. The thousands of people in my support group can't say the same thing.

Happy Wednesday Mr. Dave !!!
Thanks Dave. Today is not a Doris Day. But it is a good day.
I have a million in mine.
The 2 people in my support group can't agree on anything.
...except that I exaggerate in the other direction sometimes...
Blessings and aloha...
I don't know what "normal" is either. It must be on a gradient scale.
My addict son likes to embellish everything that comes out of his mouth. It is like listening to a story teller from the old days. He is really good at it. Not an ounce of truth but makes a good storytime.
Namaste
