more of the journey

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for the people I respect

when I'm aware that all my neurons aren't firing quite right

for a reminder that sobriety does not cure alcoholism

that Saturday was just a lazy day inside while it was so cold outside; we just had the coldest weekend in Houston's recorded history; some of my tropical plants died and will have to be replaced (in the Spring)

I hope your plants are in a better place.

Many of my plants died as well. I gave them dirt and a home but that just wasn't enough.
Love the pic.

Could you some day put up a picture with some color in it?

I do feel sorry for you - try minus 12 temperatures and ten inches of snow!!

I am sorry to hear about your plants. I know that they were beautiful - and loved.

Dave, I too am sorry about the plants. We bought a small greenhouse and it has saved a lot of ours that were in pots. I don't think that those planted in the ground would fare well though! It was a high of 32 here yesterday.

Sorry bout the plants. It's 20 here and my bamboo is the only thing thriving...go figure. I'm thinking of planting my xmas tree cause it's still green and has tinsel all over it. It would make people look...hehe

Stay warm and if you want to borrow some seed catalogs, let me know.

It was 13° when I left for my morning meeting. The temperature dropped more on my way there. No one at the meeting was wearing shorts this morning. God gave us brains to use.

I love the quote, can't believe that it isn't more widely known, maybe your post will start it on it's way.
