todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful
that another holiday period has come and gone. I'm still sober and I bet you are too.
that my skin fits just right
that I am comfortable, even pleased, to stay at home at night. In my past life, I could not do that. I had to go out. Every night. Somewhere. Anywhere. To a bar, of course.
that I rarely go to bed with outstanding issues
that Houston's new mayor, Annise Parker, officially took office over the weekend and the world continues to revolve. She just happens to be gay.
One of the secrets of a long and fruitful life is to forgive everybody, everything, every night before you go to bed.

Thanks Dave. Have a graet day.
I haven't gone to bed with outstanding warrants in years!
Yay for Annise!
I love my bedtime prayers.
My skin fits too! It's the clothes that keep shrinking. Yeah..right...
Loved your list today.

I am comfortable to stay home too. On New Year's Eve, we were in bed by 10:30--old farts I guess. Well, it just seemed to be more fun in bed actually.
With each year of sobriety I get more comfortable staying at home. It feels great to for life to having meaning, to feel satisfied, instead of constantly hiding or chasing.
My skin is baggy in a few areas.
New Year's Eve? Is it over already?
love the pic, the post, the new Houson mayor and going to bed without outstanding issues
