My backyard Jacuzzi before Hurricane Ike ... and the day after.

Hi Dave. I'm tired of all the "Ike Piles" all over my neighborhood.
I'm glad your new diggs did not get damaged.
Always have I liked that Lincoln guy, whoever he is...
Chop, saw,
Cut and haul.
Only way to
Get rid of it all.
Been there, etc. I sure don't need to tell you for what to be grateful, you tell ME every day, dAAve. Thanks!
Is your Jacuzzi OK? Looks like maybe it was just covered with tree debris?
Reminds me of the time I was sitting in my hot tub during a winter wind storm. I was having fun watching the trees dancing around when a particularly violent blast of wind pushed over a tree, I thought it was coming right at me.I was going to have to duck into the water, right at the edge so as to have some protection from the tree. At the last second, I realized it was gonna miss me. I don't think I have ever felt so scared. I was glad I was in the hot tub, no one could tell I pissed my self. Wind and trees, a bad combination.
Glad your okay. And now with all the shrubbery around your tub, it's gonna feel very green in there.
We drove through Memorial yesterday. It was sad to see so many giant, beautiful trees cut up into logs on the sides of streets.
That looks kinda like my road did after we got it in Kansas.
Glad for you that there just a mess and any real damage. A jacuzzi might be considered a distant cousin of Ike? Loved the Abe quote!
What do you mean you are accountable for those around you?
Like who you choose to hang out with?
Tabitha -- just a point of clairfication...
I said I am accountable TO those around me, not FOR them.
I like checking out other people's houses (& yards). Too bad about the hot tub, as we call them up North, but hopefully after some clean up, you can hop back in.
Rats. I thought Dave was going to be accountable for my actions. I guess that's not how it works.
I am glad you are OK, back in town, and have your power back on. Take Care
Dave, It looks like the jacuzzi needs a blower put on it. It may be good as new. I'm glad that the storms are just about over. It's getting to be too cool here for hurricanes now. I'm grateful for getting through another year without a close encounter with one.
Hi. See ya at 10 AM.
