Being convinced ...

REDNECK DOORBELL

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that because of Tradition 8 of Alcoholics Anonymous, my sponsor has not charged me any money for any of the step work we've done together ~~ Whew!

for busy and productive days, almost all day, every day. This is only noteworthy (to me) because I am retired and still manage to remain quite busy, somehow

that I am learning about detachment; If I don't poke my nose into a beehive, I won't get stung.

that I was able to drive through about 1 foot of water during a flood yesterday and not damage my engine (yeaaaaaa for SUV's !!)

for more good life advice from my therapist

for the power of writing

for dinner with 2 of my support group because my trainer told me that to lose more weight, I must eat more (go figger)

that when I had my wisdom teeth removed a few years ago, I did not have dumb implants

Can you imagine the look of the credit card statement if we had to pay for all the time our sponsors spend with us???? Jeeez, I'd be under a bridge. I need that doorbell :)

yea dAAve, i went for the smart implants myself... lol

I would be broke if I had run a tab with AA, but it would be paid! Heck, I think we all paid in advance for our recovery...

I did frame a turkey butt during my framing career.

It is 7 AM! And I'm surfing the blogosphere. I still have one of my wisdom teeth, and at 66 it still hasn't kicked in. It must be another of those "in God's time, not Zane's time" thingys.

Hey! I still have a wisdom tooth too, and it never descended.

Isn't it amazing to find that we have to eat to lose weight! What a great discovery. Have fun.

10-4 for staying out of the bee hive.

Detaching is something that I had trouble with. Now that I know what it means and can practice it in modest ways, I find it has helped me a great deal in relationships. The less that I try to pull, the closer others get to me. It's nice.

Sounds like you're surviving the floods. Houston looks like a mess on the TV news.

You might want to start gathering animals in pairs...
