birthday night @ Lambda Center

"There are those of us who are always about to live. We are waiting until things change, until there is more time, until we are less tired, until we get a promotion, until we settle down -- until, until, until. It always seems as if there is some major event that must occur in our lives before we begin living."

I am grateful that I am not one of "those of us" who almost live...

This post is out of character for you in many ways Daave. Hope you are OK.

Has the remodeling started? Sounds like construction frustration.

dear dAAve,

I can relate to that "until" idea.
For years I lived like my life was a dress rehearsal for the "real thing."

I would one day be ready for the real life.

A friend reminded me that this was IT. I began living and thinking of my life differently at that time.

Today, I try and live each day to the fullest and live like it may be my last.

Thanks for the reminder.

Love you
