Living

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for all of you who have been praying for my Mom; she continues to hang in there although she is seemingly unaware of anything or anyone around her

that Mom's friend of the past 54 years was able to visit her yesterday on her birthday

that I got to hear the 55 minute version of Myke S's story of experience, strength and hope

for confirmation (once again) that the membership of Lambda Center made the correct decision 3 years ago to allow CMA (crystal meth anonymous) meetings in addition to AA and AlAnon

that I made a decision not to give up

for a successful Country & Western dance @ Lambda, complete with bales of hay and saddles, two-stepping and hats and boots

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

the country dance was a fun time. i showed up not wanting to be there and couldn't help smiling and laughing the whole time. thanks to the people who did all that work to make it successful.

Wishing you a good day!

That line about getting hit by a bus has worked for me many times.

Prayers, hugs, and all that mushy, icky stuff. Hang in there, kiddo.

Dear dAAve,

It thrilled me to hear that your mother was visited by an old friend yesterday. How wonderful !

You all remain in my prayers and, I imagine Pat is looking and listening to Jesus' plans for her in His Kingdom. I lit a candle for her yesterday in church. Love and the peace of Christ be with you.
