Still progressing

Click here for a cute little song.

If you're at work, don't turn it up too loud.

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for a short but sweet visit to see my Mom; she was able to open her eyes and smile at Hayden and I AND she squeezed our hands as well

for all the people who call to check on her condition

for the many times that my patience was tested yesterday and I passed each time; only a few months ago, my nerves would have been shot before darktime

that I rarely lie to anyone just so I can get my way

that it's been years since I have wanted to take revenge against anyone

that I am a defensive driver, thus able to avoid vehicles directly in front of me that go into a spin on the wet freeway

We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give.

Watching you walk through this experience with your mother is inspiring. You are in my prayers every day.

I think it's odd that you mention revenge this morning. For two days I have been praying for God to remove the feeling of wanting revenge against someone! They truly did me wrong and cost me a heap of money. BUT..they are out living their lives and I'm spending LOTS of time fretting on how to "get even". That's the worst part about wanting revenge...it takes up so much time that you could be using for good stuff. Hey...I kind of worked that issue out in my head while typing this! Thank you Doctor Dave for the free therapy.
I'm glad you are getting some great moments with your Mom.

For me, driving on the freeway is always scary. But a spin out in front of me would rattle me for a while. Glad it wasn't you.

Sometimes I think that I'd like some revenge on the road rage drivers. Like a James Bond type car that skewers their fender.

Daave, you are a good, good son. I hope you know that.

Be careful out there; we need people in the world like you.
