Overcoming that kind of adversity is astonishing. Like he said, we can't compare sufferings. Like we cannot compare our bottom to another's. My bottom is what I needed to get me into recovery. I want to hear about yours so I can see how you have recovered because that gives me hope. We support each other to give each other hope that things are as they should be.

This young man has harnassed a hope and seems to sustain it. I have a broker "remermerer" and I need to be constantly reminded.

I saw this guy on 20/20 last night. Very inspiring. His parents deserve a great deal of credit, too, even though they were winging it when it came to knowing how to handle his situation. I liked how his mother advised him when he was little to talk to people when they stared at him, because that would make people see him and not his physical condition.

The epitome of courage, strength, and hope. Sort of puts things into perspective.

That was facinating. I don't know how he keeps that outlook. I think it is fantastic.
