Only 2 days until Friday

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that I just about always have hope, except in my last days of drinking

that my program of recovery is mine and seems to work just fine -- for me!

that I have seen both sides of the fence

that I've made it easer to comment on this blog (for now); no more moderation

that I'm happy to spend life at and/or near home; I spent many years travelling and living in hotels during my drinking years

for HGTV and especially, David Bromstad

You wake up in the morning, and your purse is magically filled with twenty-four hours of unmanufactured tissue of the universe of your life! It is yours. It is the most precious of possessions. No one can take it from you. And no one receives either more or less than you receive.

I stay in nicer hotels now than I did in my using days. ;)

That video was upsetting. Was it supposed to be funny?

See? There are many reasons why I do not ride amusement park rides.

You and Joni Mitchell and your both sides thing.

I like all of this today. I like the quote about purses and tissue.

Even though I see both sides of the fence, I didn't try to fence those diamonds to MC. Just sayin'.

I got hung up with David B. here today. I want to redecorate and I want more of what he has...creativity! Yeah, I love being at home too.
