My Mom
February 17, 1923- August 10, 2008

(this picture was in 1966)

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for all the things my Mom taught me ...

...about unconditional love
...about being helpful to others
...about being nice to others
...about being responsible
...about never giving up
...math (with flip cards) LOL
...how to die gracefully and with dignity
...about the world in general

I'd rather be able to face myself in the bathroom mirror than be rich and famous.

Aw. It's so nice of you to say nice things about your mother. Little did she know when she got up that morning to dress and fix her hair, how important that one day would be - remembered so many years later.

She was a lovely lady and is remembered with fond memories. It was a pleasure knowing Pat.

It's almost eerie how much your mom looks just like my mom in that photo...great tribute to her. I'm sorry for your loss Dave.

Dave, your mother taught you so many good things. I don't think that we ever forget what they taught us. So glad that you posted about her today. I'm sure that she is still with you in so many ways.

One thing for sure Mr. Daave, you should have no problems looking in the bathroom mirror. But you are rich beyond your dreams - you have wonderful memories of your Mom and the knowledge that you were a very good son.
