part of the journey

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for the gift of living another day as a sober alcoholic

that I have learned from the experience of others, not to offer a spare bed to a newcomer. I know 3 people who have done so in the past month. This has resulted in a stolen car, stolen jewelry and a severe beating.

that Step Twelve shows me how to carry the message and not the mess!

that I am not a taxi driver, a banker, a landlord or a marriage/relationship counsellor

Grief can take care of itself, but to get the full value of joy you must have somebody to divide it with.

Dave, if I drove down to that street, would it be considered a slip?

True That! Carry the message and not the load. Very well put.

Offering spare beds also leads to tragic, cross-talking shares and inappropriate name mentioning.
