that I don't have to explain myself to anybody unless I want to. That's not to be confused with defending myself.

that my domestic problems with my partner are largely behind me/us

Good Morning! I'm cruising the blogs because the swirling winds & snow around my house discourage me from the 7am mtg. So I hear your good word instead. Happy New Year (that we start anytime that we want!) I'm thinking geographical cure this am, googled Asheville NC and realized that they ae at 16 degrees while we in NH are a balmy 30 degrees.

I am just relaxing and knowing that all is okay with me today. I don't like having to defend myself. It isn't a pleasant thing. I too am glad to get back to a bit of less frenzy. I have enjoyed almost all of it, but miss the naps in the afternoon!

I enjoyed your post on boxing day. I hadn't heard of it before. My holiday was the smallest it has ever been, in a good way. It was a time for me to focus on gratitude.
