Wrapping up the week ...

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that we had a first-timer at the noon meeting yesterday -- I love the sharing that normally takes place when a first-timer is present

that I kept coming back instead of giving up

that I don't always get what I wish for

that I don't always get what I deserve

that I always get what I need (apparently)

that about 1 hour after leaving a comment on SOBRIETY SOCIETY yesterday regarding Tradition Twelve, I attended a 12/12 meeting where the topic was .... Tradition Twelve!

that tomorrow night we celebrate about 25-30 October AA birthdays at Lambda

that my therapist thinks I have a better memory than I think I do

The supreme happiness of life is the conviction of being loved for yourself, or, more correctly, being loved in spite of yourself.

Sounds like Lambda is going to have a great celebration. Thanks for what you wrote on my blog. You are so right about the negative thoughts coming in lightening fast.
