Looking back

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for the limitless ways to stay connected to my HP

for some really good results from acting as if

that the topic of fellowship & friendships in Sunday night's AA meeting; this usually triggers me into self-pity as I realize I have so few real close friends in my life. I have hundreds of acquaintances but no one I hang out with.

that I'm really only about half my chronological age

for the life and laughs of George Carlin

that with a whole lot of luck and everything happening as scheduled, we'll close on the new house next Tuesday (July 1)

that Hayden and I co-exist well in a hotel room together in spite of our differences. We are wired completely opposite as far as awake vs sleep hours. He's a night person and I'm a morning person.

I feel the same way about "close" friends. It seems that all my "together till we die friends" have died.

George went into the Air Force in 1954. You and I know what we were doing that year!
