Day One

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that I woke up this morning with 1,945 continuous sober days under my belt

that I remember what I did last night, all the way up to when I went to bed, said a short prayer and then fell asleep

that going to sleep didn't include passing out or vomiting

that I have the opportunity to make 2009 even better than 2008, not only for me, but for those with whom I come into contact

for each and every day

We probably wouldn’t worry about what people think of us if we could know how seldom they do.

dAAve, just what a paranoid, selfish, worried, fearful, alcoholic needs to know: How SELDOM anyone is thinking of ME! Well, I know it now, but it took HOW many years of "curtain down!"

Cunning, baffling, POWERFUL!

HAPPY NEW YEAR'S DAY!
