Enjoy the weekend

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for another Step 8 meeting yesterday -- that's 3 of them in less than a week

for a sponsee who is willing to do whatever it takes

that I am doing my best NOT to take myself too seriously but I take my recovery program as if it's life or death (actually, it is!)

that we in Houston are so lucky to have such mild-ish weather during the winter. I know many of you are experiencing hell lately. It's gorgeous here, although a little chilly for us, but this afternoon should be about 65 deg.

Winners have simply formed the habit of doing things losers don't like to do.

I used to have that cat outfit but it doesn't fit me anymore. Of course the scratch pole thing is one size fits all.

lol Pam... hey my friend, sounds like you're doing just great, no shock there!

it's life and death indeed, thankfully its no longer emergency room but maintenance!

Gives a whole new meaning to "pole dancing."

Cats in heat are pretty persistent.
Some people are, too.

I like the winners/losers quotation. I have a day ahead of me doing a bunch of things I don't want to do, but I'll feel great after I do them.

well isn't that cat creative! The winner/loser quote is awesome. So true. Happy Friday.

I rescue cats, so I'm well aware how insistent they get when they are in heat. I couldn't help chuckling when I saw this.

I know sobriety is a life or death reality for me. Drinking would destroy me. (Hugs)Indigo

I saw an outfit like that in Florida. I didn't take it home to my wife though. I don't really think it was her style.

Enjoy the good weather.
