MONDAY G

eatin' my piece of the cake

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that I got a 3-year chip for staying sober and that Hayden was able to hear my acceptance talk 3000 miles away via our cell phones (at his request)

that Sonny lived through his heart bypass and recovery to be able to accept his 24-year chip

to see so many other friends celebrate their birthdays and the fellowship after the meeting at Starbucks

for the 150+ people who attended Birthday Night @ Lambda Center on Saturday

for a first-time newcomer at the Sunday Night meeting

that I have a car and can give rides to those who can't otherwise get to an AA meeting

that I get my oil changed every 3000 miles; I also have regular maintenance performed on my car

that The Astros season is over and they can put their misery behind them; they finished 82-80, about 10 wins shy of where they should have been

Life is a great big canvas, and you should throw all the paint on it you can.
