I'll begin with a bit of humor ...

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that it's the month of gratitude

that it's really, really difficult to be angry and grateful at the same time

that a day doesn't go by when I don't think and/or write about being grateful for who I am today;
this blog is part of that gratitude

that I'm never going to run for public office.  Never.

The struggle ends when the gratitude begins.

It is so easy to slip into an attitude of not being grateful. I am grateful that I have sense enough to not run for any offices, public or otherwise. I am content to be a worker on the side lines now.

I believe that the struggle ends when the gratitude begins. It changes everything.

Almost every group here has a "Gratitude" dinner, speaker, etc. Lots of fun going to different groups, meeting sober people from long ago.

The struggle begins when trying to eat only one (1) dessert...
