...and that is the hammer hitting the nail on the head. There doesn't seem to be any other reason to do it if we get down to brass tacks.
If I could drink normally, I'd be drinking, erm, normally.
I can't drink normally. I start and can't stop: don't ask me why, it doesn't matter. The effect alcohol has on me is unlike what it does to most other normal people.
The alternative isn't unthinkable necessarily. I have past evidence to base my claim that I act like a c*nt when I drink. And I hate myself when I regain consciousness.
