reality

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for progress in my "taking care of me" program

that a friend who relapsed this week is OK; he is in the hospital after getting mugged coming from a bar Wednesday night

that relapse is not part of my program -- as I watch others who go back out, I see how difficult it is to get back into recovery

for a Higher Power that is so understanding

that my feelings often have little to do with the facts

Facts are black and white. Feelings have all the colors of the rainbow. I am grateful I have the 96 count box of Crayons today.

I pray I never become a relapser. I can think of nothing worse.

That photo makes me cringe. I'm glad that you're sober and haven't relapsed. Have a good weekend.

Relapse has not been a part of my program either. I will keep it that way with God's help and my following through with the tools of Alcoholics Anonymous.

That picture is worth a thousand words. Seems like so few cans tho.

Luv ya, Daave.

I went to the old-timers meeting today, average sobriety about 25 years. Not many relapsers in that bunch. Love it.
