Wisdom to Know the Difference

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that my Mom accepts the fact that she will probably never live at her home again

for a relatively quick and successful Board meeting Saturday

to get to hear Beau speak Saturday night @ Lambda - a tale of honesty and humility spiced with humour

that Acceptance is the answer to all my problems

that I'm still young enough to do some things, but old enough to know better

that when I feel "spiritually fit" everything seems to fall into place

IT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO DO WHAT MUST BE DONE THAN TO DO ALL YOU CAN DO.

...that I am OLD enough to know better. Sheesh. Some days I really feel it.

Prioritizing ~ first thing first. Putting things in order. That is all we really can do. Keep it simple.

Golly. Wish I could've heard Beau too. Did any body record his share? I've heard he's great.
Love the 'put your kid to work" pic.

lovely list...

I agree with the "that Acceptance is the answer to all my problems" I just don't like it sometimes... but then again just because I accept it doesn't mean I have to like it... hey I had forgotten that, thanks for the reminder
:)

dAAve you always seem to put things that I am thinking of into your grateful list - I appreciate the unofficial ESP thingy we got going on and I'm grateful for your grateful list.
I see you,

Glad to hear that your mom accepts that she won't be living at home again. That is a tough one. I am glad she has a sober son who is there for her.

It's the trying to understanding of what must be done that leads to what can be done.
