One Day at a Time

Boston sent me the link to this video. Thanks Boston.

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for Rule #62 -- Don't Take Yourself Too Seriously -- this is always a pertinent reminder for me because I tend to think my existence depends on what happens with just about every event. Well, it's not near as bad as it used to be.

that I have always had an unconscious tendency to embellish situations, but at least now I recognize that fact

that I'm in one of my "zones" where nothing seems to bother me. I wish I could bottle this for future use.

for honesty in blogging

that I have more than I'll ever need

Conditions are never just right. People who delay action until all factors are favorable are the kind who do nothing.

As a Texan it truly is your right and RESPONSIBILITY to embellish.

Wouldn't it be great if we could bottle good times for later?

Hope you don't mind my stealing your tune for my musical blog: as I said there, I don't think I'd ever come across a song quite like it...

of course I gave your name/link ;->...

I loved that tune! I was in that "zone" for quite a long time, that is until about 2 days ago when the shit fairy decided to visit. This too shall pass, Right?

Embellish? You mean like adding ribbons and bows and little cute buttons? I never do that.

I know that I take things too seriously. I try not to take myself too seriously. But maybe I did today.

i think it was the buddha that said once that 'life is not as serious as my mind makes it out to be'.. i tend to take myself WAY too seriously for sure. thanks for the reminder :)

Just a few minutes ago I was thinking to myself, "I wish I felt this good every day." There are some days I want to bottle up just like you described. Today is one of them and nothing extrodinary happened, I just feel at peace.
