that today is Mother's Day for my Mom as my sister and I will be spending time with her
for personal growth that comes from accepting challenges
for lots of fellowship over the weekend, although I wasn't a person anyone wanted to be around
that I can go through a lot of negative emotions and come out sober
that this guy celebrated an important first year anniversary yesterday
that I got to watch a great Astros game yesterday, sitting a few rows behind home plate
What if you gave someone a gift, and they neglected to thank you for it—would you be likely to give them another? Life is the same way. In order to attract more of the blessings that life has to offer, you must truly appreciate what you already have.

Happy Monday.
I wanted to be around you! You were my frisbee buddy.
sending a hug and a good day!
Sireene, LOL!!!!! No kidding, huh?
Oh -- I *love* your blog! So glad to find it!
Hi Daave,
I see no one has answered your question regarding gifts. I will be bold and share my thoughts. It would really depend on the relationship I had with the person. I would hesitate to give another gift until I could safely ascertain if they simply forgot, or didn't think a 'thank you' was important enough to offer up.
Happy Monday.
Go dAAve. We are our worst critics, u sure people did not want to be around you. Even on your dim days I bet you still shine even though you may not feel it. It is great that you allow yourself to feel -- and YAY you are still sober.
