todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

that I made it through a very busy week -- sober!

for another great 1st step meeting at the nooner -- a woman about my age came to her first AA meeting, not looking at the top of her game

that I may get my T-bird back today after throwing more money at it more mechanical work, including a new transmission

that the house closing went off without incident yesterday

that I'm not having a colonoscopy today (been there, done that)

What a week for you!
Step 1 meetings are just the perfect medicine during a hard week. I don't like the word "colonoscopy" - JUST SO'S YA KNOW

Maybe Pam would prefer 'ass-cam' to 'colonoscopy.' Whatever she chooses will be fine with me.

Isn't it a groovy coincidence that your money-pit-on-wheels has suicide doors?

I think we should all pile into Dave's T-bird and sing "Feelin' Groovy" at the top of our lungs. And maybe stop for soft ice-cream cones and eat them in the car if it's a hot day in Houston.
