Back to Gratitude

a few minutes with Barack

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for more reminders that I need to strive for patience (for myself and my fellow man), love (for myself and my fellow man) and tolerance (for myself and my fellow man)

for recovery fellowship in so many forms; yesterday, I spent time with 6 others at a late breakfast then went to a baseball game with 3 others. These are things that I now pursue, because left to my own instinct, I would sit at home alone.

that I get so many things done, almost daily

that I'm up and about very early (even for me) this morning and will head to the gym @ 5am

that I know what I did last night, but not what you did last summer

It's not how much you have that makes people look up to you, it's who you are.

We have 2 or 3 "Five Guys" in Naples. I've never been to one--too busy, ya know

I am not telling you what I did last summer. But you can find out by reading my archives!

We discussed the Promises this morning, and how they come about through action, not 'thinking of action.'
Your pursuit of companionship vs. isolation is a perfect example of that. We don't grow when we are root-bound.
Plus, Bunny told me that you are fun to have around, so I'm sure the folks you were with enjoyed your company.

Patience, love and tolerance are good things to strive for. I don't know what you did last night but I'm sure that it was okay.
