World Series of Gratitude

todAAy i AAm grAAteful & thAAnkful

for 2 years, 1 month, 15 days of sobriety (775 days)

for a fine story and presentation of what it was like, what happened and what it's like now, yesterday at noon

for a thoughtful present from a close friend before the ballgame last night

that I've never been pregnant nor had a desire to be

that I got to see "my team" win a pennant before I die

to see The Astros practice many of the spiritual principles in their lives and business; ie ... faith, hope, integrity, perseverance, love of others, discipline, humility

that Tradition 10 will keep me from choosing The Astros as my topic for the noon meeting

that today is meant to just feel good and hopefully I can give that to others

that The Astros appear very lucky (see below)

The more you prepare, the luckier you appear.

Congrats HP on the Astros winning. They fought hard for it. Our Cardinals tried but fell short. I find it hard to believe that they have not been in the World's Series until now. But I reckon some things are worth waiting for huh? It was funny to hear Scott talking about wanting them to win, being that he is SO NOT a sports fan. He and I laughed about it. But he wanted it for you, for you to be happy, but then that is what Scott does isn't it? I'm sure my husband will be watching your guys as they tackle the White Sox (they were the team I rooted for when I lived in Chicago). Good luck to them!!!

I'll make you a deal. If the Astros win you send me an Astro's X-Mas ornament and I'll send you one from the Red Sox.
